Vacation, Christmas and snow OH MY!

I am not kidding when I say it's FREEZING COLD outside!!! It's nuts!!! First off I cannot remember EVER having this much snow since I was a little girl. That's the honest to God truth! It's crazzzy. We went on vacation for five days with my family to southern MO. It was SOOO beautiful. We stayed in a cabin there and really honestly just enjoyed our time together and relaxed. (and played lot's of wii) We only got a little bit of snow there. When we came home the hubby and I had to shovel for an hour just to get a parking spot. (That's ridiculous since we RENT...sigh) Moving on...we were back home for two days then left again to go to western KS and NE to visit the other side of the family. Wouldn't you know it snowed again while we were gone and a little bit more last night. I can honestly say I am ready for spring and summer again. It's sappose to get colder this week and of course snow some more. Yipee! All in all we had a great vacation and were back to the grind today. I enjoyed the time off but am happy to be back to a monotonous schedule and my own bed.

Speaking of work...happy one year anniversary to me for being at Sorenson for one full year! I know that seems like a small feat but this is the longest I have been at a job (and planned on staying longer) for about four years. It's pretty exciting in my book and I look forward to many more years here.

My last blabber also has to deal with work but first off I want to give praise to my God ALMIGHTY!!! Ever since I accepted my full time job back in September I went there knowing that it was only for this school year. I knew that I would not have a job for the 2010-2011 school year with the same district. That was fine I was happy to take the job and put it at the Saviors feet and trusted that He knew what the future held. I can truthfully say that I have not worried and stressed about not having a job next year at all. I have just had a peace. For those of you that know me you know that is pretty amazing for me not to stress about something. I have always just given it back to Jesus. Well folks....today one of the department heads came into work to make a fabulous announcement...we're getting a new student! AND the new student is a freshman. Meaning what? There is a strong possibility that next year I will have a job with the same district! Nothing is set in stone yet or 100%. BUT there is the possibility...provided this year goes well and the student decides to come back to the same district next year. See what happens when we let God be as big as He is!? PRAISE HIM!!!! WAHOO!!!

Anyways...I have a million other things I could blog about but for now...I am off of here....

In HIS PRECIOUS NAME:
Stephanie
