Prayer...

When posed with the question, "How often do you pray?" I am presented with a bit of a problem.... I have been asked this question over and over and I feel weird when I give my answer. You see...I am in a constant conversation with the Lord. He's my friend...we talk about everything. Someone asks me to pray for them and immediatley I offer up a quick, "Dear Lord please be with ____ in their situation of ____." I mean before I get out of bed in the morning I lay there and have some in depth prayer time and pray more specifics for people but I always have my on going conversation just like God is right here with me. (I know HE is but more literally like RIGHT HERE).

So anyways, we've been praying for lots of people in the Sonshine household. Those who have lost loved ones, those hurting financially, those coping with stress, jobs, marriage, college, school, health...the list is endless.

Sometimes I get lost in prayer. Isn't that awesome!?

Some mornings I drive all the way to work and arrive and think to myself...wow I don't even remember driving.

It's amazing how our love for the Lord and being so involved with Him can take our mind off all the worries and troubles.

If your struggling today, if your hurting, if your heart is heavy...know there are people praying for you. Know that there is always someone you can depend on...someone you can call on to pray for you. And when you go to the Lord and you feel so heavy burdened and you feel like you have nothing left and there is nothing else you can do....Give it to Jesus. He is the ALL MIGHTY, HE can heal all your cares!

Just call on Jesus!
