Blessed by awesome youth!!!

I can tell spring is coming despite what Mr. Groundhog told us! (And despite the fact that it is STILL snowing here and we haven't had a day in about two weeks that it hasn't snowed) Things always always get busy in the spring and let me just say...the spring has sprung!!! I am almost overwhelmingly busy lately. Praise the Lord for parents teacher confrences (no kids at school tomorrow, staff only) and Presidents day on monday! This girl needs to catch up on some sleep. Granted it's my own fault but there were more important things to do than go to bed at a decent hour. For example...the KU-TU game. IMPORTANT. At least my staying up was worth it and my boys in blue won! :) And great fellowship last night was also a fabulous reason for my tardiness to bed!

I certainly have been blessed by some awesome youth recently though. I am amazed by the power of God! Last wednesday night at youth there were over 80 kids there!!! Yes, you read that right...OVER 80!!! Wahoo!!! Granted we had a game night of booger ball and that draws in a lot of kids but the gospel message was presented and we had about 30 kids make decisions and about 13 of those were to become first time Christians!!! EBC is on FIRE!!! Then last night we had 50 kids and talked about God's bigness HUGE love for us!!!

GOD is Good!!!

In other news I had my 90 day review at the school and it was OUTSTANDING!!! Whoop! God has blessed me ever so abundantly in this position. I do not know HIS plans for me concerning my future but HE does and that's all I need to know.

All the time GOD is good!!!

This week is Valentines Day. (Just a little news flash for those of you who may not remember) My darling hubby and I were discussing V-Day the other night and it went something like this,

"So uhh Valentines Day is on Sunday"

"Well I know that but our schedule this weekend is REALLY packed with youth, work, friends over for dinner, the v-day banquet at church, work, and hanging out with J&E. I don't think we have time to do anything."

"Oh ok"

"Well dear you know what? it's not really a big deal....everyday is Valentines Day when I'm with you!"

AWWWWWWWWW. (Insert mushy brimming eyes here)

He's a keeper.

This week has also brought a college class into my life. I got accepted to go back to school about a month ago. (I'm going back to get a BA to accompany my AAS in Interpreting) I had to take a ASL-English Competency test. I am about half way through with it. All I have left to do is finish videotaping myself. I already did all the testing online stuff and it went pretty well in my opinion. Hopefully it all goes SUPER well and I can skip some classes!

I think that about sums up what has been going on recently. I hope that you all have a blessed week. And if your feeling lonely on Valentines Day just remember that there is a big Big BIG GOD in heaven who loves you more than any earthly person ever could.

Be Blessed!
All my love in  HIM,
Stephanie Rachelle

PS. Update on my sister in law- Ms. Lydia is due on the 27th of this month but hasn't turned yet. She is in the breech position. Please be praying that she gets to turning so they can skip the c-section! THANKS!
